OpenSkills Projects should be as dynamic and effective managed as we think is possible. At the moment we are working on project management reports to give an overview of who does what. We also are working on a recognizable structure for Development to report on each system Wiki page e.g. the SkillsBase Development page.
Update Aug 2006 Note: please update the list if there are changes
- Develop LDAP solution for efficient user data handling
- Web design job / Competition to improve all web pages (home, skillsbase, mailings, wiki, etc)
- Effort Tracking system to support contractors and all kind of projects. The application includes project formation, task definition, team formation (recruitment), task assignment, timesheets and approvals. This new system is in development as described in our wiki.
- Version control systems; objective is an active use of these version control systems with good access and integrated reports | What's new (wiki) reports
Note that in the philosofie of OpenSkills it is not always easy to make a difference between a project and Outstanding Requirement in the Wish Lists. The main idea is that people work on voluntary or professional basis to develop the OpenSkills Services. All participants have a vote in priorities and monthly the board decides on expenditures.
